Did you get two ClixSense stats emails today? (08/01/08)

Did any of you get more than one update email with your ClixSense stats? I did, and noticed a slight difference in my totals. When I logged in this morning, first site as always, I also noticed that my earnings had not been reset as I had become accustomed to over the last several months. This concerned me because I had more than my selected minimum and this amount had always been reset as of midnight on the first day of the new month. I have to admit I was a little nervous since the site had gone thru maintenance recently. I have been receiving checks from ClixSense every month since last November, but still get a big thrill out of seeing my stats updated to show my payout had been completed. I have always had a check in my hands by no later than the 10th of the month and was worried that this problem would cause a delay in the processing.

I'm attaching a screenshot of the support ticket I submitted, along with the replies and will also quote it here for those of you that don't want to click on the image link.
( http://apaidreader.googlepages.com/CSSupportTicket.jpg ) I have to tell you that the fast response and immediate actions taken when I reported a problem gives me even more confidence in this terrific site! I hope sharing this with you will help ease any concerns you might have had if you noticed the same things as I did.

01 Aug 2008 10:03 Hello support. Should I be concerned that last months totals haven't updated yet, even though I reached my selected minimum? I usually see this take place at midnight every month. I also received 2 stats notices last night, about an hour apart, and they each have different totals even though there were no ads and no new clicks during the time between.

I'm curious because this is the first time this has happened since I joined near the beginning of last year.

A concerned member,

Hello, Lynn. Thank you for letting us know. The recent site maintenance involved a server upgrade and the script that sends the stats email was not deactivated on the old server. You received two emails with different stats since it was sent from both machines. The old server has now been deactivated and you will no longer receive multiple stats emails. We appreciate your business and, as always, if you have any questions or need assistance don't hesitate to contact us.

01 Aug 2008 10:43 Hi Lance, Thanks so much for the reply. I'm glad to know I helped by notifying you of the two emails so you could deactivate the old server.

I am actually more concerned with the earnings from last month not being moved to a "pending" status as it always has before. Is this something that has been changed too? Will it be changing After the check has been processed? ClixSense has been the MOST reliable site I've ever participated in and it just concerns me when I don't see the earnings moved like I've come to expect over the last several months, though I do understand sometimes things have to be changed.

Sincerely,
Lynn aka paidreader

Checks are being processed as normal and will be printed and mailed by the 10th of this month. The script that begins the process was delayed slightly by the move but your check information should now show in your account.

01 Aug 2008 12:42 Thank you very much for the quick responses and the update. It's so encouraging to see such fast action when a problem is reported. No wonder ClixSense has remained my #1 favorite!

ps. I was very impressed to see that within 1 1/2 hours of reporting a problem, my stats were updated to pending status and within less than 3 hours of reporting the problem, my stats page had been updated to show my check has already been cut!

If you'd like to see my updated stats and payout proofs, please visit my new ClixSense webpage. This is also where I give my referrals the free tools to build their downline.

ClixSense vs. DailyClicks

Six months ago I posted a discussion on MyLot about 2 of my favorite make money sites. At the time I had just gotten started with DailyClicks and was pretty impressed with the amount of ads available each day since they were worth at least one cent each and compared it to my favorite site ClixSense. I figured it was time for an update.

These are my TOP 2 favorite PTC sites and I now have about the same amount of referrals in each site. 23 for DailyClicks and 24 for ClixSense. Both sites take from 30 minutes to an hour to complete each day.

When checking my stats and collecting my screenshots for both sites, I was surprised to see that this months earnings are higher in DailyClicks than it is in ClixSense. While I still have another week to build my ClixSense earnings before they send me another paycheck at the first of next month, my DailyClicks earnings for one month are currently $15 higher than ClixSense.

DailyClicks had a problem with the pending payouts a month ago and the money was returned to my account and had to be re-requested. While annoyed with having my audit time extended, I was happy that my new pending payout was for a much higher amount. When I requested my second payout again (5/24/08), it was for $100.01. Now, one month later, I see that I earned over $35 in just one month with DailyClicks. So far, I've just passed $20 with ClixSense with only another week to go before the earnings are processed.

DaddyBux Update

After making some changes to my blog and payout proof pages, I found that I was seeing signups for DaddyBux, and it was almost right away.

I have had to make some changes to the way I'm handling the screenshots I'm capturing to show you my progress, as I can understand how others would like to see the improved results "as they happened".

For this reason I have decided to store the individual stats screenshots at Photobucket or my computer could run out of space soon, lol. I haven't worked out how I will display them, since I know Photobucket allows me to set up slideshows when I have multiple images related to the same thing. This makes it easy to add the latest update without having to change the link URL. I will probably provide the information both ways until my viewers tell me which they prefer.

Until I get that task completed, here's a mini log of what happened to get me where I am today on DaddyBux.

Approx date I Joined: January 2008
Date of first payout request: June 22, 2008
Date of First Blog Post: June 4, 2008
0 refs in First Image: 06/04/08
2 refs in 2nd image: 06/06/08
5 refs in 3nd image: 06/09/08
30 refs in 4th image: 07/10/08
30 refs in 4th image: 07/11/08

Here's the link to the slideshow I just setup.

DaddyBux didn't send me an email when I joined so the earliest thing I could find was an email notifying us of the change to AlertPay for their payout processor. The date on this email was 1/26/08 so I'm unable to give specifics on the exact date I joined. As I searched for the information, I did a google search and thanks to google's cached images, I noticed that the last time Google spidered my page to capture the image was May 15th. At that time, I hadn't even added DaddyBux to my rotator of sites that pay one cent or better. That's been corrected now. :)

This is the discussion I posted on MyLot, when I realised I needed to change the way I handled my images. If you have a preference or would like to make a comment, I would appreciate hearing from you.

6/22/08 I got to request my first payout today. WooHoo!!

Let's see, started in January, May 15th, I was barely over $4. First ref started June 6th and I was up to a little over $6 on my own. With the help of 18 refs now, they've helped add another $2 which helped push my balance to the minimum to request payout. Request entered for $8.93 which is just barely past the minimum, lol. Sure was nice having a little help there at the end. :)

Had to note it on the calendar since for some reason DaddyBux doesn't add a pending request to your history. Not sure I like this but I've seen sites like DailyClicks completely remove the amount of your payout from your stats page and move it to a pending entry on the history page, so who knows. To each his own, I guess. Hopefully the history I'm documenting will help me calculate the anticipated due date a little easier when I need to. Let's see what the Terms are again.

How do I get paid?
If you have the minimum amount of $8.90 accumulated, you can click on your account balance within your stats area and it will submit your request. Currently, we only make payments via AlertPay. We will soon be using other methods of payment.

When do I get paid?
You can request for payment once you're account balance is the minimum amount of $8.90 accumulated. Your payment will be processed and issued via AlertPay within 15-60 working days or less, (working days= Monday-Friday).

What is AlertPay?
AlertPay is the payment processing solution that we use to pay members. Your AlertPay address is the e-mail address you use to register with AlertPay. You can get a free AlertPay account at http://www.alertpay.com.

Why did I get paid less then what I was owed?
If you have a business account with AlertPay, they charge a 2.9% transfer fee plus an additional $0.30 base fee when you receive funds.

Hmmm. Ok, I'm a free member here, but have a business account at alertpay, so hmmm, less than $0.60 for the processing, that should still be over $8. Sweet. Ok, the anticipated due date now. More than likely 60 biz days which is going to be more like 3 months I'm sure. By my count, earliest would be Sept 12th, which would be before my birthday. Hopefully by the end of September to count in the 3rd quarter calculations. :)

7/11/08 Just added a few more snapshots. Can you believe it? I'm up to over $14 now!

It's been about a month since I got my first ref for DaddyBux and I'm really pleased with the way my promotion efforts are paying off. I'm up to an amazing 30 referrals now. It's been an amazing month with this site. Check out my latest referral snapshot. With my referrals viewing ads too, it's really given my balance a boost. It's a shame more of them aren't active, but it's only been a month. I see at least two very active members and a few semi-active members which have helped add over $5 to my balance since they joined my downline. Sure hope this continues. GRIN

My experience with DailyClicks

I joined a site called DailyClicks on December 11, 2007. It is an internationally friendly paid to click site offering one to two cents per ad you visited for 30 seconds, so it fit in well with my collection of "get paid" sites. Having a low $10 payout didn't hurt either as it fit in well with my newest collection of "$10Paychecks" sites. Since joining, this site has offered at least 20-40 ads per day and the ads are mainly available all at once, unlike other sites that require checking back numerous times thru the day and in my opinion, it has quickly become one of the best PTC sites in my collection.

I saw this as a good site to promote and using some of my free traffic resources, I quickly had half a dozen signups. I also added my signup link to the free downline builders I use to get referrals for my PTC sites and got a few more signups. As I watched the earnings grow from my downlines activity, I quickly realised that this was going to be one of those sites that upgrading might be wise. Afterall, I had seen other sites like E-MailPaysU and ClixSense that offered a very low upgrade cost with great long term benefits. With these successes in mind, I paid $10 for the lifetime upgrade prior to the cost going up to $21.95. For the cost of the upgrade fee, all my ads are now worth 2 cents each and I'm now earning one cent per referral click instead of only $0.005 as well as a reduced payout time.

After having some database problems and having their paypal account frozen because they are a paid to click site, I was relieved to have everything worked out by the great staff at DailyClicks. By February 5th, less than 2 months after joining, I was able to request my first payout: http://apaidreader.googlepages.com/DailyClicksHistory.jpg for $33.08. Here's a pic of the stats page just before I requested payout http://apaidreader.googlepages.com/DailyClicksPending.jpg. With all the problems the site was having, I was amazed with the earnings.

According to the DailyClicks TOS, the site pays within 30 business days for upgraded members and 60 business days for free members. As many know, business days are usually considered as Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays, so 30 days can be more like 45 days, so I hope to receive my first payout via AlertPay within the next week or so.

As I continue to stay active on this site daily, I notice my downline has already outclicked me in total ads viewed as you can see in the most recent stats:

In just over a month after requesting my first payout, my balance has already increased enough to request another payout once they clear my pending transaction. It's results like this that make you glad you decided to participate and invest in an upgrade. The site will let you redeem your earnings for the upgrade, so if you decide to try it & then consider upgrading, it CAN be done with no out of pocket expense to you.If you're interested in adding DailyClicks to your paid to click portfolio, as either a free or upgraded member, check it out at: http://www.dailyclicks.biz/?r=paidreader
