Another ClixSense Payout #34 - comparing options

I received another ClixSense payout this week. That makes 34 payments received so far. They remain as dependable as always.




Even though Clixsense has changed the payout options to include weekly payouts by AlertPay and PayPal, I still prefer to have a check to show my husband that I am still earning real money from my online efforts. I think he's starting to get use to the extra checks arriving in the mailbox now. LOL

In case you haven't noticed, the check fee has also been reduced with the addition of the new payout options. In the past, the fee for requesting each payout was $3.00 deducted from the amout of your payout. When the online payouts started, I compared pricing and figured out it may save a little on each payout by using PayPal or AlertPay. I even considered it for a little while as I continued to build my balance. When the time came to request my payout, it was very nice to see the check fee has now been reduced to $1.50 which is very comparable to the online payout fees.

I still encourage all ClixSense members to determine the best payout options for them personally, as the total fees involved may be different depending on your location and any currency conversions involved.

ClixSense Payout #33

Yeah! Love the dependability of ClixSense when it comes to on time payouts. I received my latest ClixSense payout yesterday. As mentioned, this was 3 months of earnings, covering December 2010 thru the end of February.

Today the site change was made and I've been very pleased with what I've seen so far. If you're a member, I encourage you to check out your new stats. I noticed the yearly stats view now includes a monthly average. It was quite nice to see how my monthly average continues to grow due to my personal activity and promotional efforts. The campaigns section also had some nice changes. I can now see how much I earned from each campaign I ran.

New ClixSense layout delayed by a few more days

The announced site changes were delayed by a few days so we should see the new site in just a few more days. Watch for the changes as of March 10th.

Looks like several members have taken advantage of renewing before the changes go into effect. My balance has jumped considerably over the last 3 days. Nice to see I can still reach the $10 minimum in about 2 weeks.

Payout 33 is on it's way so I'll be posting it within the next few days.

Another big ClixSense payout

I love seeing the payout status change to complete when I check my ClixSense stats. I left my payout minimum at $100 and it took 3 months to get to reach payout again. On average I had 16-18 direct referrals and was a daily surfer before & after work.

It pays to check the site often so the toolbar has been wonderful! Recommend it to everyone!

Updated my 32nd payout proof with ClixSense recently. The latest payout helped pushed my total ClixSense deposit for 2010 to just over $400. They continue to payout on time once you reach your selected minimum. I will be leaving mine at the $100 level again this year. By only requesting 4 checks over the year I paid a total of $12 in check fees. Much better than the $36 I paid when requesting a payout every month. I continue to see my earnings go up approximately a dollar a day between referral earnings and my personal clicks. I continue making a good amount of profit for each years $10 upgrade fee. I definately plan on renewing again in April.

Biggest ClixSense payout to date $112.84

My check from ClixSense arrived the other day. This one was for $112.54! Nice way to build up my Christmas shopping fund. I have now deposited almost $300 for the year! Not bad for the $10 a year upgrade. This pushes my total deposits to nearly $1000 during the 3 1/2 years since I start. Still the best in my books! Just watch 30 second ads to get paid. Refer others & you start earning more. Current referrals: 20 I have already exceeded my 2008 totals for affiliate earnings, which was my best year & I have a feeling that this years total will also be higher.

Have only had time to work on the webpage a little since the last update but I think I may be happy enough with it to start working on the others now. If you are on my team, don't forget to check out some of the free traffic exchanges I have linked to the main webpage. I still highly recommend EasyHits4U. I have started using my earnings there to buy more traffic. Especially with a few days of vacation & no computer access recently. Setting the maximum number of visitors per day allow me to spread out my credits over a 4 day period. It really did help keep the traffic coming, even when I wasn't home to surf. You get paid 10 cents for each 1000 pages you surf there (plus prize pages) but you can choose to convert the money in your account. An extra 50 credits for each 1000 I surf can add up over time. I try to surf here for at least 25 to 100 pages a day and I recommend increments of 25 due to the prize pages. If you aim for 100 sites a day, you would have 10 cents in 10 days. 30 cents earned in a month is an extra 150 visitors.

ClixSense -I'm earnings a consistant $1 a day by referring others

The changes I made to my ClixSense promo page appears to have been worth the effort. Looking at my 2010 affiliate earnings, I have seen a consistant $1 a day in extra earnings to my ClixSense account. Sending most of my traffic to the promo page allows my downline members to see my stats regularly & since I am also seeing sign ups at the various recommended sites, the earnings are also growing in my other make money programs. It really does add up over time if you keep promoting your referral links.

ClixSense Stats update

My stats were finally updated today. It is always nice to see the Pending payout change to Completed as it indicates that the check is finally on it's way.

The recent updates I've made to update my new ClixSense page on the traffic exchanges have been helping to boost my balance. Between the safelist email I sent out on AdTactics and the increased activity on the traffic exchanges have already pushed me past the minimum for the next payout. With a good push for the next few months and an increased determination to continue my resolution of requesting payout every three months the next payout could be another good one. Time will tell.

ClixSense Update

I continue to be amazed by my earnings at ClixSense. A $10 a year program has allowed me to create an ongoing income source. To date I have deposited a grand total of $749.49 in the 37 months since joining. It has taken some time to build a downline but the referral program with this company is excellent for the upgraded member. A recent change now allows upgraded members to earn from a total of 8 levels now.

I still haven't seen much response to my MyLot post asking members to report in earnings increases since the change. As far as my personal earnings go, I continue to see $1 upgrade commissions credited to my account many times thru the month even though some of my personal referrals have been deleted for inactivity. My direct referral count is down to 15 now but I still earned over $25 in referral earnings. I had over $34 in my account by the end of March. I know that doesn't sound like much but I did just get paid at the beginning of March, lol.

I have decided to continue on with my goal of saving extra money from the check fee so I have set my payout minimum to $100 again and hope to have the patience to wait 3 months for the next payout. So far it looks like the next check could be a good one too.

I had to do some work on my ClixSense promotional page. GooglePages are now being converted to the new sites so many of my links were broken. ClixSense Payout #29

Yesterday I received my 29th payout from ClixSense and it's the biggest one yet!



My New Years Resolution was to work on patience. I decided to wait 3 months before requesting payout so I could let the balance build and to reduce the check fee. Well after the 3 month wait I was quite surprised at how well my balance grew. Not only was this my biggest check to date, I also saved myself $6 in check fees.

Delays or Payouts?

Did you get two ClixSense stats emails today? (08/01/08)

Did any of you get more than one update email with your ClixSense stats? I did, and noticed a slight difference in my totals. When I logged in this morning, first site as always, I also noticed that my earnings had not been reset as I had become accustomed to over the last several months. This concerned me because I had more than my selected minimum and this amount had always been reset as of midnight on the first day of the new month. I have to admit I was a little nervous since the site had gone thru maintenance recently. I have been receiving checks from ClixSense every month since last November, but still get a big thrill out of seeing my stats updated to show my payout had been completed. I have always had a check in my hands by no later than the 10th of the month and was worried that this problem would cause a delay in the processing.

I also received 2 stats notices last night, about an hour apart, and they each have different totals even though there were no ads and no new clicks during the time between.

I'm curious because this is the first time this has happened since I joined near the beginning of last year.

Hello, Lynn. Thank you for letting us know. The recent site maintenance involved a server upgrade and the script that sends the stats email was not deactivated on the old server. You received two emails with different stats since it was sent from both machines. The old server has now been deactivated and you will no longer receive multiple stats emails. I am actually more concerned with the earnings from last month not being moved to a "pending" status as it always has before. Is this something that has been changed too? Will it be changing After the check has been processed? ClixSense has been the MOST reliable site I've ever participated in and it just concerns me when I don't see the earnings moved like I've come to expect over the last several months, though I do understand sometimes things have to be changed.

Checks are being processed as normal and will be printed and mailed by the 10th of this month. The script that begins the process was delayed slightly by the move but your check information should now show in your account.

ps. I was very impressed to see that within 1 1/2 hours of reporting a problem, my stats were updated to pending status and within less than 3 hours of reporting the problem, my stats page had been updated to show my check has already been cut!

Time Saving Trick when working with PTC sites

Quite a few of the PTC sites only have a few ads to click each day but since they only take a few minutes of your time, it's an easy way to make a few extra cents in your spare time. What many members don't know, according to the feedback I've been getting from others involved in PTC, is that many of these sites have new ads available at different times of the day. Not all of them, of course, but quite a few good sites are worth checking at least a few times a day.

You don't have to stay online all the time to get these extra clicks, but if you do find one you like that does, it's worth it to check more often. If you do this in your spare time like I do, try checking in the morning with coffee, once before dinner and once before bed. You may be surprised at how much extra this can add up to over 30 days.

Tip: When you find sites that have extra ads like this, send a shortcut to your desktop so you'll see it and remember a little more often. This was a simple way for me to remember specifically the sites with extra ads each day so I didn't have to keep checking thru all the sites I participate in. I wanted to pass along a little time saving trick that's been working for me.

Can you really make hundreds of $$$ from ptc sites?

I get asked this question alot. Can you really make hundreds of dollars from a free paid to click site. My answer is yes, but it takes time to build, and depends on how active you can be.

I started making money online with paid to click sites in 2000. When I got started, I was working a full time job and was raising a teenage daughter. ClixSense vs. DailyClicks

Six months ago I posted a discussion on MyLot about 2 of my favorite make money sites. At the time I had just gotten started with DailyClicks and was pretty impressed with the amount of ads available each day since they were worth at least one cent each and compared it to my favorite site ClixSense. I figured it was time for an update.

These are my TOP 2 favorite PTC sites and I now have about the same amount of referrals in each site. 23 for DailyClicks and 24 for ClixSense. Both sites take from 30 minutes to an hour to complete each day.

When checking my stats and collecting my screenshots for both sites, I was surprised to see that this months earnings are higher in DailyClicks than it is in ClixSense. DailyClicks had a problem with the pending payouts a month ago and the money was returned to my account and had to be re-requested. While annoyed with having my audit time extended, I was happy that my new pending payout was for a much higher amount. When I requested my second payout again (5/24/08), it was for $100.01. Now, one month later, I see that I earned over $35 in just one month with DailyClicks. So far, I've just passed $20 with ClixSense with only another week to go before the earnings are processed.

How do I earn money with ClixSense.com?
Start by signing up. (1*)
Once you are logged into your ClixSense.com account, click the "Browse Ads" link. On the "Browse Ads" page you will be shown a list of ads that are available for you to view, in addition to how much viewing that ad pays. When you click on a link for an ad a new window will open with a timer at the top of the page and the advertiser's page in the bottom frame. Once the timer counts down to zero (0), the amount stated for viewing the ad will be credited to your ClixSense.com account.

Is ClixSense.com an Autosurf?
ClixSense.com is not an Autosurf. Autosurfs are programs that automatically load ads in the browser without a viewer necessarily ever seeing the ad. With ClixSense.com, advertisements are truly viewed as the member must be present to open the next advertisement available to them.

Is ClixSense a Scam?
No, ClixSense is not a scam. They pay their members each month that they reach their selected minimum. I have been paid 12 times in 15 months. Payout proofs are available here

How much do I need to earn before I receive a check?
The minimum check amount processed by ClixSense.com is $10.00 U.S.D.. You may also select higher disbursement amounts through your account profile if you wish. (2*)

When and how will I receive my earnings?
Payments are disbursed by check and mailed to the postal address on your profile on or before the 10th day of each month for earnings of the prior month provided that your account balance has reached the minimum payout level of $10 or you may select a higher minimum payout if desired (2*). If your account balance is less than $10 (or the minimum payout you selected), earnings will carry forward until such month as you have met the minimum check requirement.

Can you send my earnings to my PayPal account?
We do not send earnings to PayPal. All earnings are sent to your mailing address. We must enforce this policy to combat multiple accounts who would rob you of clix availabe and the advertisers of their advertising dollars.

Are there any fees to earn money on ClixSense.com?
No. You do not have to pay any type of fees to earn money with ClixSense.com. A check processing fee (2*) of $3 will be assessed when a check payment is sent to you from ClixSense.com. Additionally, if you wish to optionally upgrade your account to "Premium" Status additional charges may apply. See the "Premium" upgrade area for the most up to date information.

Can I use my earnings to purchase Clix?
Yes. You may convert your account balance to "Ad Credits". When you log in your account you will see a "convert" link next to your balance. Click that link to convert your balance to ad credits. You can also perform the conversion on the "manage ads" page

Premium Status

What is a premium account?
Premium account status indicates to advertisers that the viewer has successfully made a purchase using a credit card or bank account online. Many advertisers prefer to limit their paid advertisements to viewers who have proven purchasing power. Upgrade your account to "premium" status today and start seeing more paid ads to your ClixSense.com account. The cost to upgrade to "premium" status is $10.00 USD and is valid for 1 year from the date of upgrade. (3*)

What is the difference between a regular and a premium ClixSense.com account?
Premium account status indicates to advertisers that the viewer has successfully made a purchase using a credit card or bank account online. Premium members may(4*) have the opportunity to view more ads, thus earning more money since some advertisers select only to display their ads to viewers who have proven purchasing power (targeted advertising)

Why should I upgrade to a premium account?
Premium members may have the opportunity to view more ads and, as of November 2007, when one of your direct referrals upgrade their account to a Premium membership, you are instantly paid $2 for that members upgrade. When that member refers a new member who upgrades to premium you are instantly paid a $1 override commission. You just got paid for doing NOTHING! Even better, that same scenario pays FIVE LEVELS DEEP! (5*)

Can I use my earnings to upgrade my account status to Premium?
No. Premium account status indicates to advertisers that the viewer has successfully made a purchase using a credit card or bank account online. Most advertisers prefer to show their ads to only those who have upgraded.

How long does it take to upgrade my account status to Premium?
Once ClixSense.com is notified by the payment processor that your payment is completed, your account is automatically and instantly upgraded. Some payment processors do not "complete" your payment until certain verifications are completed. If your account status has not been upgraded within 48 hours of payment please notify us so that we may investigate.

How do I refer new users to Clix Sense? (5*)
Log into your ClixSense.com account. On your main screen once logged in, you will find your own personal referral link listed. Send your referral link to potential referrals. If a new customer is brought to ClixSense.com through your personal referral link, you are credited with that person as a personal referral. You are then paid a percentage of any advertising that referral does on the ClixSense.com Advertising system.

Spam Policy?
You may not promote your referral links through unsolicited emailing (i.e. SPAMMING), newsgroup postings, or any other method of mass communication. A friend of mine signed up using my referral link but I do not see them in my downline - what happened?
Your referral may not have had their pc set to accept cookies or there may have been some other type of computer “glitch” on their end. ClixSense.com cannot control the computer settings of your potential referrals and cannot be held responsible for referrals not credited. If you earn at least 3 cents a day as a free member, you can EARN your upgrade in less than 1 year. Use the money from your first payout to pay for your upgrade and you will see more ads each day for a whole year.

Promoting ClixSense

This month I decided to work on a splash page and a webpage to promote ClixSense. They both contain the same information, but in a different layout, different colors, etc. as they are free advertising tools provided by different hosts.

The splashpage I created on TEToolbox turned out much nicer than I thought it would and didn't take very long to set up. Setting up a splashpage like this, with links instead of images, allows your page to load faster when you're promoting it on the traffic exchanges. In this way, the viewer can click the link if they're interested in viewing the attached details.

As I mentioned, I have provided the same information on a webpage I created for free with googlepages, http://apaidreader.googlepages.com/clixsense , but you'll notice the information is provided in a different format. Googlepages makes it easy for even a beginner to create a free webpage about anything you can think of. I am very proud of my stats and realised that I could insert snapshots of my account particulars to show others how quickly the earnings add up when you upgrade your account. When I have new snapshots to update, I just upload the images to my image folder and the new, updated images are automatically updated on any of the pages I've added the image to. Quite a time saver!

I'm pretty happy with the pages now and have been promoting both pages on several of the free traffic exchanges I use for the last week and I'm quite happy to report that I've had 6 new signups for this month.
