I really like WordLinx as a source of extra income. I joined the site in late 2006 and have just now requested a 5th payout for a total of $50.15 in extra cash so far! This site has been around since 2003, if you can believe that! A paid to click site that pays one cent per ad viewed, has actually been around for more than a few months, and has shown their dependability with timely paypal payouts. Optimize your time at Financial Freedom Ads

I don't know if you noticed or not, but there are some PTC sites that will have extra ads available at different times of the day. None of them have actually posted when they do this until now. FinancialFreedomAds actually tells you when they add more ads. From what it says in the FAQ section, you can optimize your time and earnings there by visiting at the three times they have listed.

Apparently this has been changed and applies to only upgraded members. After posting the original message I noticed they now have a 48 hour period before the ads refresh for free members and have not yet found any extra ads available at the times mentioned. I have managed to get a few more referrals so it's helping.

Did you get two ClixSense stats emails today? (08/01/08)

Did any of you get more than one update email with your ClixSense stats? I did, and noticed a slight difference in my totals. When I logged in this morning, first site as always, I also noticed that my earnings had not been reset as I had become accustomed to over the last several months. This concerned me because I had more than my selected minimum and this amount had always been reset as of midnight on the first day of the new month. I have to admit I was a little nervous since the site had gone thru maintenance recently. I have been receiving checks from ClixSense every month since last November, but still get a big thrill out of seeing my stats updated to show my payout had been completed. I have always had a check in my hands by no later than the 10th of the month and was worried that this problem would cause a delay in the processing.

I also received 2 stats notices last night, about an hour apart, and they each have different totals even though there were no ads and no new clicks during the time between.

I'm curious because this is the first time this has happened since I joined near the beginning of last year.

Hello, Lynn. Thank you for letting us know. The recent site maintenance involved a server upgrade and the script that sends the stats email was not deactivated on the old server. You received two emails with different stats since it was sent from both machines. The old server has now been deactivated and you will no longer receive multiple stats emails. I am actually more concerned with the earnings from last month not being moved to a "pending" status as it always has before. Is this something that has been changed too? Will it be changing After the check has been processed? ClixSense has been the MOST reliable site I've ever participated in and it just concerns me when I don't see the earnings moved like I've come to expect over the last several months, though I do understand sometimes things have to be changed.

Checks are being processed as normal and will be printed and mailed by the 10th of this month. The script that begins the process was delayed slightly by the move but your check information should now show in your account.

If you want to get some free referrals for your site, you have to advertise it. People can't signup under you if you don't provide them with a link, right? No advertising budget? And they say you can't earn much with PTC

I know alot of people may not like PTC as a way to make extra money, but I do. I find it a very enjoyable and educational experience and suits my goals of making some extra cash in my spare time. I will admit, it's not the fastest way to earn online, but considering I only spend a few hours a day clicking at my chosen selection of sites, the extra money isn't bad.

Because of recent issues with sites experiencing database losses, I have had to find a way to keep better track of my earnings. I had already been keeping screenshots as I went since I am constantly updating my stats and received payouts on my payout proofs page. Hopefully, this practice will serve me well as we wait on the latest site, FoxCash, to make the restorations manually.

Anyway, because I had this issue in mind, I took the time to upload the majority of my screenshots to my account at Photobucket the other day (7/11/08). I've finished all the labels now and set up a slideshow to show you some of the sites I'm participating in. You should notice that in some sites I have 0 referrals but I'm still able to increase my balances each day. I've had better success recruiting members for my downline after receiving at least one payout, so these, of course are building slower than some of the others.

Because they limited me on how many screenshots I could add to the slideshow, I decided to give you a good mixture on statuses. Some sites have very few refs, but their clicks can really help boost your earnings if they continue to be active. I've got a decent amount of refs (10-30) for a handful of sites and wanted you to see how much faster it goes with a little help. Then there are a few that I have been participating in for longer and I've built a considerable downline for.

Anyway, the point I want to get across today is that if you're active and refer others, you can earn a considerable amount more than when you click alone. Take some time to promote the ones you are doing well in and over time, the signups should start. Keep in mind, getting refs requires as much patience and diligence as the clicking does, but it can really help build up a considerable amount, given enough time.

Setting this up took longer than I expected, so I think I'm going to do updates like this once a month and keep the slideshows in different folders at PhotoBucket so you can actually see the difference a month can make. I hope this provides encouragement for those of you pursuing PTC as an extra money opportunity and helps to show you how it really can add up.

I went to the forums today after checking for any new ads and was quite pleased to see an official announcement from the folks at Bux.To. I had already calculated another 1 month delay in getting my payout request from April 8th, based on the latest payout proof I found posted earlier. It was nice to find that the higher ups have a 4 week goal of getting the backlogged payouts completed. Here's the link to the announcement or you'll see a link labelled Payment Backlogs Begone! at the top of the page when you're logged into the forum. It is anticipated that clearing this backlog will put them back onto the 30-60 business days time frame in their TOS, so while free members still have to wait about 3 months for payout, hopefully they won't be delayed beyond that in future.

7/13/08 update
A few more sites were added to the collection today. Here's a snapshot of the ones I updated in my FreeMoneyTeam program list. I'll try to do a proper writeup on them within the next few days. I will also need to add MySpaceToEarn and MyCashHoney writeups.

Took the time to update my webpage for low payout sites that don't need refs to earn from. Lots of people asking about those again. I also made sure to collect new snapshots of all the sites on the payout proofs page and updated the stats and any payouts received. Sure was nice seeing the changes in some sites. All the new sites have been updated there as well as the signup bonus page where it applies.

Time Saving Trick when working with PTC sites

Quite a few of the PTC sites only have a few ads to click each day but since they only take a few minutes of your time, it's an easy way to make a few extra cents in your spare time. What many members don't know, according to the feedback I've been getting from others involved in PTC, is that many of these sites have new ads available at different times of the day. Not all of them, of course, but quite a few good sites are worth checking at least a few times a day.

You don't have to stay online all the time to get these extra clicks, but if you do find one you like that does, it's worth it to check more often. If you do this in your spare time like I do, try checking in the morning with coffee, once before dinner and once before bed. You may be surprised at how much extra this can add up to over 30 days.

Tip: When you find sites that have extra ads like this, send a shortcut to your desktop so you'll see it and remember a little more often. This was a simple way for me to remember specifically the sites with extra ads each day so I didn't have to keep checking thru all the sites I participate in. I wanted to pass along a little time saving trick that's been working for me.

FoxCash Alert

FoxCash recently suffered a database loss due to hackers. In order to start earning again, many members are being asked to rejoin as the hackers have destroyed the database information for signups going as far back as May 26th, 2008. If you've signed up recently, it's important to see if your account was recovered or not. Try logging in and if you get a message saying there is no such username, you will have to reregister.

There is good news for members that have a screenshot of their earnings. If, after restoring your account, you can post your screenshot showing your lost earnings in the forum and it will be manually corrected. There are over 50,000 members that are being affected by this, so the restoration process will take some time to get completed. The sooner you can post YOUR screenshot, the faster your account can be restored. More Details can be found here and here

Good news for members that had purchased upgrades or referrals. You don't need to submit screenshots to have their purchases restored as FoxCash does have the AlertPay records to restore these accounts and they are already working to restore your accounts!

There is a lesson to be learned by this experience. Take screenshots of your earnings periodically, so you won't have as big of a set back should this or any other make money site experiences database losses. For those of you that don't know how to make a screenshot, it's fairly easy and once you do it a few times, it'll become second nature to take a screenshot of your earnings after visiting your favorite "make money" sites.

While on the stats page of your site, hit the prt scr function key (a few keys above the delete key on most keyboards). Open Windows paint, by going to start, all programs, accessories, then paint. Once paint is open, click edit and paste. Your image should appear and now is the time to save it to a folder named screenshots, earnings, proofs or something similar that you'll remember. Depending on the forum, you can usually insert your image by uploading it from your computer.

If only links are allowed, there are several free sites that will let you upload your images and then provide you with an image url to post your proof. Some that I like to use are Webshots.com , Photobucket.com and Googlepages.com

Ok, go check to see if your account was recovered or not. If you can't login, even after clearing your cookies, you will need to re-register. If you know the person that referred you, contact them to get a link to rejoin their team. If not, please use my link. I'm still trying to contact the 30 referrals I have lost since this happened but I can see that FoxCash is determined to do what they can to restore as many accounts as they can. They've even increased the daily ads from 12 to 22 to help members that didn't have screenshots. At $0.015 for each ad, it'll take less time to reach the payout minimum.

Recent activity limits have also been removed with the current situation and payouts are being made much faster as you'll note by the scrolling text message you'll find when visiting the forum.

Can you really make hundreds of $$$ from ptc sites?

I get asked this question alot. Can you really make hundreds of dollars from a free paid to click site. My answer is yes, but it takes time to build, and depends on how active you can be.

I started making money online with paid to click sites in 2000. When I got started, I was working a full time job and was raising a teenage daughter. The sites I joined only took a few minutes of my time each day but the earnings were pretty slow to start so I started joining even more sites. Over the years, my schedule has changed and I have more time to work on these sites. Let me start off by telling you that I'm not really big on offer sites. On most of the ptc sites I've attempted these paid offers with, I've done everything I was supposed to do and still didn't get credit. Not much incentive when you're not getting credit.

They're a little different than the average traffic exchange and worth checking out. They offer a 1:1 ratio which means that for every site you view, you'll get one visitor to your site in return. ClixSense vs. DailyClicks

Six months ago I posted a discussion on MyLot about 2 of my favorite make money sites. At the time I had just gotten started with DailyClicks and was pretty impressed with the amount of ads available each day since they were worth at least one cent each and compared it to my favorite site ClixSense. I figured it was time for an update.

These are my TOP 2 favorite PTC sites and I now have about the same amount of referrals in each site. 23 for DailyClicks and 24 for ClixSense. Both sites take from 30 minutes to an hour to complete each day.

When checking my stats and collecting my screenshots for both sites, I was surprised to see that this months earnings are higher in DailyClicks than it is in ClixSense. While I still have another week to build my ClixSense earnings before they send me another paycheck at the first of next month, my DailyClicks earnings for one month are currently $15 higher than ClixSense.

DailyClicks had a problem with the pending payouts a month ago and the money was returned to my account and had to be re-requested. FoxCash Update

I had to do a search on Google to find the documentation for my success with FoxCash. This was the first site I tested some of the tips I got from some ebooks I had the pleasure of reviewing recently. Since I've been seeing such great results from the changes I made, I have been working on the best way to display the information so you can see how quickly these changes worked.

Here's a mini log of what happened to get me where I am on FoxCash today.

If you'll notice, on May 15th, (date of google cache image 1, 2), I had only earned $0.81 in the first 4 days since joining. Now, it's been less than a month since I joined, and with the help provided by an active downline of 9 members, my new balance is $7.31

DaddyBux Update

After making some changes to my blog and payout proof pages, I found that I was seeing signups for DaddyBux, and it was almost right away.

I have had to make some changes to the way I'm handling the screenshots I'm capturing to show you my progress, as I can understand how others would like to see the improved results "as they happened".

For this reason I have decided to store the individual stats screenshots at Photobucket or my computer could run out of space soon, lol. I haven't worked out how I will display them, since I know Photobucket allows me to set up slideshows when I have multiple images related to the same thing. This makes it easy to add the latest update without having to change the link URL. I will probably provide the information both ways until my viewers tell me which they prefer.

DaddyBux didn't send me an email when I joined so the earliest thing I could find was an email notifying us of the change to AlertPay for their payout processor. The date on this email was 1/26/08 so I'm unable to give specifics on the exact date I joined. As I searched for the information, I did a google search and thanks to google's cached images, I noticed that the last time Google spidered my page to capture the image was May 15th. At that time, I hadn't even added DaddyBux to my rotator of sites that pay one cent or better. That's been corrected now. :)

This is the discussion I posted on MyLot, when I realised I needed to change the way I handled my images. If you have a preference or would like to make a comment, I would appreciate hearing from you.

6/22/08 I got to request my first payout today. WooHoo!!

Let's see, started in January, May 15th, I was barely over $4. First ref started June 6th and I was up to a little over $6 on my own. With the help of 18 refs now, they've helped add another $2 which helped push my balance to the minimum to request payout. Request entered for $8.93 which is just barely past the minimum, lol. Sure was nice having a little help there at the end. :)

Had to note it on the calendar since for some reason DaddyBux doesn't add a pending request to your history. Not sure I like this but I've seen sites like DailyClicks completely remove the amount of your payout from your stats page and move it to a pending entry on the history page, so who knows. To each his own, I guess. Hopefully the history I'm documenting will help me calculate the anticipated due date a little easier when I need to. Let's see what the Terms are again.

How do I get paid?
If you have the minimum amount of $8.90 accumulated, you can click on your account balance within your stats area and it will submit your request. Currently, we only make payments via AlertPay. We will soon be using other methods of payment.

When do I get paid?
You can request for payment once you're account balance is the minimum amount of $8.90 accumulated. Your payment will be processed and issued via AlertPay within 15-60 working days or less, (working days= Monday-Friday).

What is AlertPay?

Why did I get paid less then what I was owed?
If you have a business account with AlertPay, they charge a 2.9% transfer fee plus an additional $0.30 base fee when you receive funds.

Hmmm. Ok, I'm a free member here, but have a business account at alertpay, so hmmm, less than $0.60 for the processing, that should still be over $8. Sweet. Ok, the anticipated due date now. More than likely 60 biz days which is going to be more like 3 months I'm sure. By my count, earliest would be Sept 12th, which would be before my birthday. Hopefully by the end of September to count in the 3rd quarter calculations. :)

It's been about a month since I got my first ref for DaddyBux and I'm really pleased with the way my promotion efforts are paying off. I'm up to an amazing 30 referrals now. I joined WordLinx over 2 years ago, March 2006, and have been very satisfied with my earnings from this paid to click site. A few months ago I told you about a new paid to click site called BuyasNet. It was a site I added to my ptc collection because they offered ads worth at least one cent each and offered 100% of your downline earnings.

Since I joined, there have been some changes. Not only is there a new admin, there is also a new name. Buyas.net is now Buyas.Info. They still have the same pay plan but you'll definately see an increase in the number of ads available each day. Over the last week or so, there have been 35 to 60 ads each day and they're not limited to upgraded members as you'll see with some paid to click sites. This makes it much easier to reach their low $10 minimum whether you have referrals or not. As of the time of this posting I'm already over halfway to payout with zero referrals.
